All of the images on this blog were taken with the camera built into my treo 650 smartphone. None of them were edited or manipulated in any way before being posted here, and no applications were used to enhance the built-in camera.

But seriously, I truly admire your work and feel you have a great gift. No one can take that away from you. And just in case you wondered, this is not something I would say lightly.
I want to say one other thing. This picture is so you. The inner fire moving upward through the glass--of course, it's a drinking glass. How the fire illuminates the glass but the light lessens as it moves upward, and everything surrounded by the dark. Well, I felt this fire in you even before I saw your work. The photo looks explosive. So bright and yet all around it is the darkness.

I had a dream about you. It was a long dream but at the end you told me that you had a German girlfriend and I said I knew. Somehow I knew she was a geologist or something and worked with the earth. Then I said you still needed to have friends and I meant myself.
You probably won’t believe me, but the day you’re able to reply to me is the day that your entire life will begin to change.
